Salicylic Acid, Lotus Flower Extract and Willow Bark Extract
This effective formula of salicylic acid and other potent ingredients significantly clears acne and prevent it from recurring. The anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-bacterial ingredients combined with BHA work together to reduce swelling, blemishes, clear whiteheads and blackheads, and deeply unclog pores affected by the overproduction of sebum oil. In addition, the Lotus flower extract, another potent ingredient that helps to balance sebum secretion, diminish skin shine and reduce blemishes and imperfections of the skin.
ACTIVE AGENTS
Salicylic Acid
Salicylic acid is a clinically proven chemical compound for treating moderate to severe acne skin conditions. BHA significantly clears whiteheads, blackheads and it’s known for its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. it deeply exfoliates clogged pores and breakdown sebum oil that builds up over time.
Lotus Flower Extract
Nelupure™ (Nymphaea Caerulea Flower Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract) is an extract of a blue and pink lotus flower. the active ingredient reduces the activity of sebum overproduction, helps to balance sebum secretion, diminishes skin shine, and reduces blemishes and imperfections of the skin.
Willow Bark Extract
Natural Salicylate, enriched with salicylic derivatives, provides effective anti-blemish, anti-irritant, anti-seborrheic, and keratolytic action. It helps break up the oils and remove the flakes, leading to clean pores and oil balanced appearance.
Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree)
Tea tree oil is proven to treat moderate to severe acne because of its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobial properties. The extract is known to reduce swelling and inflammation. it rapidly diminishes active acne. It also helps to prevent acne scarring caused by deep cystic acne.
Directions of use
Apply a dime-sized amount to a clean, dry face once or twice daily. Gently pat into the skin, avoiding the eye area. Recommended to be used after cleansing and toning but before heavy moisturizers. If used during the day it is recommended to apply sunscreen of SPF 30+.
Note: This potent formula contains Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA). Patch test before use is recommended to avoid skin irritation or burning
Caution: BHA may initially cause redness and irritation, and it should not be combined with retinol or any other Vitamin A derivatives, at least at the beginning of adding BHA to the daily regimen. Once the skin has built a tolerance to using BHA, Retinol can be added to the regimen. It is highly recommended not to use BHA and Retinol at the same time. Instead, BHA can be applied in the morning and Retinol at night or one night BHA and the next night Retinol.
