COLLAGEN BOOSTER

Hyaluronic acid and Niacinamide

Specially formulated to boost moisture content in the skin and revitalize the skin’s outer surface layers, this potent oil-free hyaluronic acid-based serum instantly makes the skin look softer and radiantly hydrated. It contains a blend of Hyaluronic acid to stimulate collagen production, Niacinamide that prevents water loss from the skin, and other ingredients that repair the skin’s natural barrier. Safe for use under make-up, sunscreen, or moisturizer. Can also be used as a light-weight moisturizer.

ACTIVE AGENTS

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

Hyaluronic Acid has the ability to replenish moisture. One gram of HA can hold up to six liters of water while keeping the water content in the skin balanced. Known to enhance the moisture levels of the skin, HA’s anti-oxidant and moisture-binding characteristics make the skin look instantly smoother, softer, and hydrated. Since HA is too large molecule to penetrate the skin fully, Our potent formula combines Niacinamide and Vitamin B5 to provide multi-depth, long-term hydration.

Niacinamide

Niacinamide prevents water loss from the skin and dehydration, helping the skin produce Ceramides that balance the skin’s natural oil production. It is also a water-soluble vitamin that visibly minimizes enlarged pores, improves uneven skin tone, and keeps the skin’s barrier intact.

Frequently asked questions

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid (HA), also known as hyaluronan, is a sugar molecule that occurs naturally in the skin and with a higher concentration in the joint and eyes. The primary function of HA is to support skin hydration, keep the eyes moist and the joints lubricated. Due to the biomedical and tissue regeneration properties, hyaluronic acid becomes a critical component of beauty products. It has been widely employed in serums, creams, lotion, gels, and fillers to boost extra skin moisture. Hyaluronic acid works as a powerful humectant that collects and holds moisture onto the surface of the skin. It makes our skin look fresh and radiant. Ageing, smoking, harsh weather, inadequate skincare lead to hyaluronic acid deficiency, and the skin begins to lose its elasticity, hydration - this results in wrinkles. Therefore, it is essential to use tailored moisturizing skincare products to keep skin plump and healthy.
Hyaluronic acid is safe for all skin types, including oily or sensitive skins. In general, HA does not trigger any adverse reaction as it is a naturally-occurring substance in our skin. However, the usage of hyaluronic acid during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be seriously considered. The effect has not been completely investigated; therefore, it is recommended to avoid its use or consult a doctor before application. Another risk for cancer patients - the evidence shows that hyaluronic acid accelerates the growth of cancer cells. People with a history of severe allergic reactions should be cautious as well when applying hyaluronic acid.
People with darker skin can safely employ hyaluronic acid as their beauty routine for extra glow and hydration. Hyaluronic acid is a go-to ingredient for all skin types improving its condition and providing lasting moisture.
Hyaluronic acid works well when it comes to the delicate eye area. Its formulation has been numerously utilized as a prime component of the eye creams, serums due to its hydrating and anti-ageing properties. Hyaluronic acid delivers rich moisture, smoothes fine lines, wrinkles, reduces swollen eye look.
Hyaluronic acid is one of the most important natural components of our body. It creates the most favorable conditions for the vitality of dermal cells. It promotes healthy connective tissue, skin elasticity and has wound healing properties. Hyaluronic acid has the unique capacity to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. Using a product containing HA will help to maintain skin hydration by pulling moisture from the air or applied moisturizer; it is also essential to hydrate your body by drinking water regularly. Hyaluronic acid works well with most other ingredients and used in tandem with retinol, vitamins, and other acids.
Hyaluronic acid is different from other acids; it has a mild texture and will not exfoliate or lighten your skin but instead soothe, protect and improve its tone. However, you should always carefully read a skincare ingredient label as the other components may affect your skin brightness.
Hyaluronic acid can be obtained in several ways: during the fermentation process of wheat or extracted from rooster combs.
Every skin type can benefit from hyaluronic acid, whether you want to maintain a healthy look or improve loose skin. HA is particularly useful for dry skin as its vital role to retain moisture and provide a youthful glow. Regularly incorporating hyaluronic acid into your skin-care routine will decrease ageing signs, smooth fine lines, wrinkles and increase skin elasticity. A hyaluronic acid injection is a different way that helps fight the ageing process and makes skin appear firmer. Another key benefit of hyaluronic acid is its wound healing ability and reducing the risk of infection as it has antibacterial properties.
Hyaluronic acid is produced in our body; therefore, irritations or allergic reactions occur rarely. When individuals notice some adverse effects, it might be caused by other added ingredients into a product. It is recommended to do a patch test to see your skin reaction. Hyaluronic acid injections into the skin can cause side effects such as redness, itching, swelling, or bruising, lasting for two to seven days. However, these side effects are usually associated with the injection method rather than the hyaluronic acid itself.
People with a history of cancer should avoid taking hyaluronic acid supplements. The safety of HA injections and supplements during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been thoroughly investigated; hence, it should be avoided. If you consider an injection procedure, consult your doctor and skip it in case you have a skin infection.
The studies showed that using hyaluronic acid regularly for two to three months can improve skin elasticity, reduce wrinkles and skin roughness. The effect varies from person to person, depending on the skin type, genetics and composition of the product you use. For the best result, incorporate hyaluronic acid into your daily skincare routine.
